Shanghai Zhonghua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is one of the first national pharmaceutical industry enterprises in modern China. It is a "Chinese time-honored brand" with a century old "Dragon Tiger" brand, and a production and manufacturing base for "Dragon Tiger" brand and "Temple of Heaven" brand cooling oil, "Dragon Tiger Ren Dan", cooling nasal inhalers, wind oil essence, and cosmetics. At the beginning of the 20th century, the west wind was spreading eastward, and the wave of modern industrial civilization surged in Shanghai. In July 1911, Mr. Huang Chujiu, a businessman from Yuyao, Zhejiang, established the Longhu Company in Shanghai. Based on his experience of practicing medicine with his father at a young age, Huang Chujiu created the Dragon and Tiger People Pill, a medication that opens the mind and awakens the mind, dispels heat, and stops vomiting, based on the ancient famous formula "Zhuge Xingjun San" and the ancestral formula "72 Symptoms Formula". Four years later, the company was renamed as Zhonghua Pharmaceutical Company, with an independent industrial structure and operating model, breaking away from the traditional production method of traditional Chinese medicine handicrafts, and becoming the first national pharmaceutical industry enterprise in China.
